American Nuclear Society co-hosts Art of Science event

The University of New Mexico student section of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) recently co-hosted an event called the Art of Science.
Along with the UNM chapter of the Society of Women Engineers, ANS taught approximately 100 girls around New Mexico about nuclear technology and energy at the Feb. 8 event.
Carl Willis, a lecturer in the department, took a leading role in organizing all the activities and providing demos.
The following ANS members volunteered at the event: Rowdy Davis, Matthew Gervasi, Emily Carillo, Yuqi Liu, Steven Showalter, Stephanie Gammill, Bobbi Merryman, Christopher Wolfe, Mekiel Olguin, Lauren Crabtree, Alexandria Ragsdale, Carl Willis, Christian Arguello, and Lauren Crabtree.
