Professor Edward Blandford is part of a $5 million collaborative project

Professor Edward Blandford is part of a $5 million collaborative project funded under the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy's Integrated Research Project (IRP). The team is led by MIT in partnership with UC Berkeley, University of Wisconsin and UNM. The research is in the area of next generation high temperature fluoride salt-cooled reactor (FHR).
Professor Edward Blandford received an NRC Curriculum Development Award for developing a web-based state-of-the-art nuclear reactor safety class that will be offered jointly with UC Berkeley. The joint course will be piloted in the 2015 Fall semester
