Student Awards
Carly J. Romnes, ANS student member since January 2017, has been awarded a scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year by the engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi. Romnes, a UNM nuclear engineering student, will receive a cash award of $2,000 for her senior year of study. Tau Beta Pi scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, campus leadership and service, and the promise of future contributions to the engineering profession.
